Beautiful imagery from Hati by Khalid Mohtaseb. Apparently causing some controversy. I’m not entirely clear as to why. I suspect people think it’s somehow too pretty for such a devastating event. But covering news using gorgeous imagery has been done before with still photography and is very effective. Look at the work of Sebastio Salgado.
